How to get there
Air Transport
1) Galeão/Tom Jobim International Airport: for international and domestic flights, it is connected to the city by an executive air-conditioned coach bus, BRT (articulated bus), special services, regular taxis, and app-based transport such as Uber or 99 (safer).
2) Santos Dumont Airport, located downtown, only services domestic flights, and it is the best option for travelers from other main Brazilian cities. It is a short ride to the South Zone neighborhoods and offers regular cabs, app-based ground transport, and the VLT tram, which connects to the underground.
Ground Transport
Rio de Janeiro is accessible by interstate buses arriving at Novo Rio Bus Station. The station is connected to other parts of the city by regular taxi service, app-based transport such as Uber or 99 (safer), and the VLT tram.

How to get to the conference venue
You can get to the PUC-Rio campus through two entrances:
1) by PUC-Rio Bus Terminal, where the main entrance to the campus is located; at this entrance, you can arrive by bus, car, taxi, Uber (write: “PUC Terminal”), bike, and by walking;
2) by Marquês de São Vicente street, where there is a secondary entrance for pedestrians, but it is also possible to arrive by bus, taxi or Uber (write: “Rua Marquês de São Vicente, 255 – Gávea, Rio de Janeiro – RJ, 22451-045”).
